Russian t shirts, especially the Soviet t shirts such as the infamous CCCP t shirts, Lenin shirts and Moscow ones, have always been an extremely popular genre of tee shirt.

Here, I have chosen my 5 favourite Russian t shirts, which are great retro t shirts that remind us of a totally different era.

USSR T Shirt

CCCP t shirts have become a brand in their own right, similar to the Che Guevara t shirts. This is a great example of these USSR t shirts with “CCCP” written in white letters a on red background.

“CCCP” is actually a Latin graphical rendition of the Russian acronym for the Soviet Union. This is an original Russian t shirt, which has been screen printed in Moscow and made from a luxuriously soft 100% cotton ring-spun yarn.

Yuri Gagarin T Shirts

Another popular style of Soviet t shirt is of course the Yuri Gagarin t shirt. Celebrating the legacy of the first man to travel into space.

These Russian t shirts are actually imported from Russia and have a print of Yuri Gagarin in a cosmonaut helmet on the front of them.

“Glory to Warrior the Winner” Tee Shirts

These Soviet tee shirts are based on the famous Soviet poster of the Stalin era.

This is an example of one of many propaganda posters that were printed by the Communists during the Stalinist era. The authentic Russian tee shirt is screen printed in Moscow.

Mockba T Shirts

This Russian t shirt features the country’s magnificent capital, Moscow.

The Moscow t shirt displays a full color picture of the famous St. Basil’s Cathedral, which stands on Red Square in the centre Moscow. “MOCKBA” is printed just below the cathedral, which means “MOSCOW” in Russian.

Aeroflot T-Shirt

I have saved my favourite type of Soviet t shirts to last. These Russian t shirts display the famous “Aeroflot” logo with hammer and sickle in its core and an imitation of some air-plane wings on the sides.

The Soviet t shirts have an inscription underneath the logo that says: “AEROFLOT” (written in Russian) followed by “Soviet Airlines” (written in English).

One of the most popular genre of 80′s t shirts are those retro tee shirts featuring video games from yesteryear.

Below are my top 5 favourite Geek t shirts from the eighties, including some awesome looking old school Nintendo t shirts.

Space Invaders T-Shirt

Space Invaders was one of the early games that started it all and let’s face it everyone of us must have played it at some time or another.

Space Invaders Video Game Funny T Shirt

Perhaps you don’t want a whole game of Space Invaders playing out on your chest and would prefer to have a single invader.

This is a great looking minimalistic tee shirt that, dare I say it, kind of make geek t shirts look cool!

Don’t Hate the Player T Shirt

Some of those early pioneering games that were just impossible to beat are the inspiration behind these geek t shirts.

These cool black tee shirts feature a very early joystick on the right of t shirt, with the writing “Don’t hate the player, hate the game” in a white font, to the left.

Mario Made in the 80s T-Shirt

This is definitely one for all you Nintendo fan boys out there! These retro Nintendo t shirts are just awesome.

The Super Mario Made In the Eighties t-shirt is a Nintendo t shirt with an image of Super Mario jumping and the text, “Made in the Eighties” printed on front.

The Last Supper Pacman Video Game Shirt

I have saved my personal favourite to last. These 80′s t shirts feature PacMan and Mr. Ghost at a Last Supper.

You can see the sweat dripping off Mr. Ghost’s face as he comes to terms with the fact that he is just about to turn blue and this is indeed his Last Supper.
